Summer in Santa Cruz County is a special time of year.

At Bogner HVAC, summer is also one of our busiest seasons.
While most people are planning beach days and family gatherings, our team is helping homeowners throughout Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, Soquel, and Scotts Valley stay comfortable when temperatures begin to climb. It's the season of service calls, maintenance visits, new installations, and helping families keep their homes comfortable through the warmest months of the year.
Of course, there is one member of the team who takes a slightly different approach to summer.
Ricky Bobby.
As Bogner HVAC's unofficial shop dog, Ricky Bobby has developed a fairly predictable summer routine. It generally involves finding the coolest spot in the building, accepting compliments from visitors, supervising absolutely everything, and making sure no snacks are left unattended.
While the rest of us are focused on airflow, efficiency, and comfort, Ricky remains committed to his core responsibilities:
- Greeting customers
- Maintaining morale
- Monitoring lunch breaks
- Conducting quality-control naps
It's a demanding schedule.
Like many Santa Cruz locals, Ricky seems to appreciate the simple things. A sunny afternoon, a cool breeze, familiar faces, and a comfortable place to relax. Honestly, that's not too different from what we want for our customers.
